Tis’ the season of fall weather and all things pumpkin spice! For the PSL fans out there, I decided to turn a holiday classic into a nourishing smoothie full of our favorite falls flavors. Not only are these seasonal ingredients easy on your digestive system (especially for those with autoimmune conditions like Crohn’s or Ulcerative Colitis as well as those with GI sensitivities), they are rich in immune boosting vitamins and antioxidants guaranteed to keep you strong and healthy throughout the winter months. Hope you guys enjoy and happy fall y’all!

Ingredients:

1/2 cup almond milk unsweetened (or milk of choice)

1/2 can pumpkin puree

2 dates (pitted)

1/4 cup raw cashews

1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon ginger

2-3 dashes nutmeg

1 tablespoon flaxmeal

1 scoop collagen (unflavored or vanilla)

Directions:

  1. To make your smoothie, start by adding almond milk to your blender followed by cashews (this ensures they are blended really well to create that smooth texture!)

  2. Add remaining ingredients to blender and blend on high for 1-2 minutes then serve!

PS don’t forget to share or tag your smoothie on instagram @wethewell !
